Carlos Reutemann’s health has worsened
Former F1 driver Carlos Reutemann is hospitalized again and would be in serious condition after new digestive bleeding and worsening of his renal functions.

Carlos Reutemann’s health condition is worrying. The 1981 vice-world champion is said to have suffered new digestive hemorrhages and is currently in intensive care at a hospital in Santa Fe, Argentina.
The former driver had already been admitted to the hospital on May 5th with signs of anemia and dehydration, before his health deteriorated due to digestive and renal problems. The Argentine was able to leave the hospital after 17 days of treatment.
Unfortunately, the man with 12 victories in F1 suffered a relapse a few days later, forcing him to be hospitalized again. Admitted to intensive care since June 21, he has not yet left the service.
According to information from the Telam news agency, citing medical sources, Carlos Reutemann was showing signs of slight improvement, but in the last hours, the reoccurrence of the hemorrhage worsened his condition. The family of the Argentine also specified that the former Ferrari driver was very ill and that his relatives were by his bedside at the hospital.
