Lewis Hamilton victim of racist insults after the race

The British driver received numerous racist messages after the race, following his accident with Max Verstappen.

This Sunday, Lewis Hamilton won the British Grand Prix, after a crazy race marked by the collision between the Briton and his championship rival, Max Verstappen.

After the race, the Mercedes driver wanted to celebrate his 8th success on his home turf, in front of 140,000 fans completely crazy. This attitude did not please many people, especially Max Verstappen, who was in the hospital at that moment.

This Monday, Lewis Hamilton’s team posted a message on Twitter, admitting that their driver had been subjected to racist insults during and after the race.

During and after the British Grand Prix which took place yesterday, Lewis Hamilton was subjected to numerous racist messages on social media following the collision (with Max Verstappen), Mercedes’ post states.

Lewis Hamilton’s team strongly condemns these behaviors and demands that those responsible be held accountable for their actions.
