George Russell wants to finish the first half of the season on a high note
While waiting for Mercedes' decision regarding its future, the talented Briton is keen on going on holiday after having set Williams ablaze!

After several Grand Prix, where the British driver has shown the full extent of his talent, including two consecutive Q3 appearances and coming close to scoring points on several occasions, the Williams driver is looking to continue his impressive streak.
« I can’t wait to go to Hungary this weekend. The Hungaroring is a circuit that I love, especially the second sector, it’s fast and flowing and you don’t have a break from turn 4 to 11, but when the car is good, it’s a fantastic feeling to really extract everything from that turn sequence, Russell says.
« I will give everything to make sure we finish the first half of the season strong, especially after several solid races recently.
George Russell has every chance of performing well this weekend, since the Williams has always been competitive on the Hungaroring, as explained by the performance director, Dave Robson.
« In recent years, we have been quite strong in Budapest and we hope to continue this trend this year. The FW43B has been performing well recently and if we can adapt it to the longer and slower corners of the Hungaroring, we will be well positioned to make the most of the tires, which are mid-range tires this week: C2, C3, and C4. The new rear tire construction that Pirelli introduced at the British Grand Prix has performed as expected and should be well suited to the Budapest circuit. »
While he is in a fight with Valtteri Bottas for the second seat at Mercedes next year, a new good performance could tip the balance in his favor, as the German team is expected to reveal the identity of Lewis Hamilton’s teammate during the summer.
