Netflix is going to release a documentary about Schumacher
On September 15th, the famous American platform known for its "doum tou-doum" will broadcast a documentary about Michael Schumacher.

Entitled “Schumacher”, this documentary film is the only cinematographic creation that has been approved by the family of the legendary pilot. This documentary will trace the career of the German driver through exclusive interviews with his family and archival footage.
In addition to interviews with family members, many people who shared the life of the seven-time world champion will speak in this documentary. Among them are Jean Todt, President of the FIA and former director of the Scuderia Ferrari, Bernie Ecclestone (who will also have a documentary series about his life), Sebastian Vettel, his rival Mika Häkkinen, Damon Hill, former director of Benetton, Flavio Briatore, and Luca di Montezemolo, former president of Ferrari.
« Michael Schumacher redefined the professional image of a racing driver and set new standards. In his pursuit of perfection, he spared neither himself nor his team to lead them to great successes. He is admired worldwide for his leadership and qualities, explains his manager, Sabine Kehm.
He found the strength for this task and the balance to recharge at home, with his family, whom he idolizes. In order to preserve his private sphere as a source of strength, he has always rigorously and systematically separated his private life from his public life. This film tells of the two worlds. It is the gift of his family to their beloved husband and father.
The documentary producer said that the production was a major challenge and that a lot of time was needed to create it.
The documentary was a big challenge and required a lot of time and sensitivity, given the pressure exerted on the production from the outside, said Benjamin Seikel.
(english) But thanks to a great team and a very good collaboration with the family, we didn’t let ourselves be shaken. We are grateful and excited about its worldwide release on Netflix. The film was always designed to be an international documentary and we are confident that it will be embraced as such.
After Ayrton Senna, former IndyCar driver Gonzalo Rodrigues and Bernie Ecclestone, the man with 7 world titles and 91 wins in F1, will also have a documentary dedicated to him.
