The Miami circuit will find a name before its appearance in 2022
The new Miami circuit finally has a name: the Miami International Autodrome. It promises to offer a spectacle with many overtaking opportunities. The layout will be present for the upcoming season in the second quarter of 2022.

A new circuit will make its appearance in Formula 1 from the next season. It will take place in the Hard Rock Stadium complex in Miami Gardens and this circuit now has an official name. It is called the Miami International Autodrome.
Tom Garfinkel, the Managing Partner of the Miami F1 Grand Prix, is delighted to finally be able to give a name to this circuit. He also adds that it will offer many overtaking opportunities to ensure a spectacle for F1 fans around the world.
We have worked hard to create a circuit that offers great races and multiple overtaking opportunities. We strive to innovate in fan experience on the sports and entertainment campus of the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. Experiences that reflect how Miami has become an international curator of culture through food, art, fashion, music, and sports.
The track will be 5.41 km long and will feature 19 turns, three straight lines, and a potential of three DRS zones. The Hard Rock Stadium, a sports and entertainment center that has hosted six Super Bowls, will be at the heart of the track.
Richard Cregan, CEO of the Miami Grand Prix, is proud of the enthusiasm for this new circuit. He claims to have received over 150,000 ticket requests even though the date has not yet been announced.
We have already surpassed the 150,000 ticket requests, which is extremely encouraging as we have not yet announced the date of our first Miami Grand Prix. […] We are confident that the Miami International Autodrome will be a significant event for fans worldwide.
The Miami Grand Prix is the 11th location where F1 has raced in the United States since the beginning in 1950, after Indianapolis, Sebring, Riverside, Watkins Glen, Long Beach, Las Vegas, Detroit, Dallas, Phoenix, and Austin. Next year, the race is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2022.
