Verstappen retakes the lead in the championship after the Dutch GP
Verstappen regains the lead of the championship three points ahead of Hamilton after his victory at the Dutch Grand Prix. French speakers were well represented at the Zandvoort circuit.

After his victory in special conditions in Belgium, Max Verstappen confirms at home, in the Netherlands, and takes the lead in the championship ahead of Lewis Hamilton, powerless. The gap between the two drivers remains minimal with only three points. As expected, the race on the Zandvoort circuit was not exciting with few overtaking opportunities. Fortunately, the atmosphere was very much present for the greatest pleasure of the drivers.

Beyond the duel between the two leading drivers, the midfield has changed once again. Valtteri Bottas, who delivered a mediocre performance at Zandvoort, regains his third place at the expense of Lando Norris (4th). The McLaren driver can already forget this challenging weekend. However, watch out for Sergio Perez (5th) who is slowly but surely catching up to the Briton. Only six points separate the two drivers. Still, a challenging weekend for the Mexican who would have hoped for better.
On the francophone side, Charles Leclerc (6th) who finished fifth, passes his teammate. It is worth noting the excellent race of Pierre Gasly which allows him to move ahead of Daniel Ricciardo. Esteban Ocon, on the other hand, drops out of the top 10 to give way to his teammate, Fernando Alonso. A mixed result for Ocon despite his ninth place in the race.
