Kubica replaces Räikkönen again at Monza
Robert Kubica will be back behind the wheel of an Alfa Romeo this weekend. The Polish driver is once again replacing Kimi Räikkönen, who is still unable to compete due to Covid-19.

Kimi Räikkönen will not be able to bid farewell to his Italian fans. The former Ferrari driver has contracted Covid-19, preventing him from taking part in the Dutch Grand Prix last Sunday.
And like the previous weekend, it is Robert Kubica who will replace the Finnish driver at the wheel of the Alfa Romeo. The Polish driver, who will be competing in his 99th Grand Prix of his career, wanted to have a few words for his counterpart.
He said: « I mainly want to wish the best for Kimi. I hope he will fully recover and come back soon to the cockpit.
Good memories for Kubica in Monza.
Kubica, who scored his first podium in Monza 15 years ago, said he was looking forward to returning to the Italian track.
« I can’t wait to race in Monza, an incredible circuit where I achieved my first podium in 2006. Unlike Zandvoort, it’s a track that I know well and it will help me, especially since the new Qualifications Sprint format means we will have only a short free practice session. I am happy with what I did in the Netherlands and I am eager to help the team again in Monza.
The former Williams driver will try to finish higher than the 15th place where he finished in the last Dutch Grand Prix.
As for Kimi Räikkönen, the 2007 world champion, who will retire at the end of this season will try to make his comeback at the next Grand Prix in Sochi on September 26.
