Italian Grand Prix – Ricciardo Tomorrow I will give everything at the start
After several mediocre races with his new team, Daniel Ricciardo finally seems to have understood how his McLaren works.
Qualified 5th on the grid, Daniel Ricciardo made a superb start that not only allowed him to overtake his teammate Lando Norris but also Lewis Hamilton.
A very good momentum propelled him to 3rd position. From that moment on, the Australian will have a very controlled race and will collect an additional point on his tally.
A promising performance for Ricciardo considering tomorrow’s Grand Prix and also shows the revival of the former Red Bull driver who is finally back at the front of the grid after a more than disappointing first part of the season.
« It took time to get to this position so it feels good. It’s good to be back. Tomorrow is where everything is at stake, but starting in the front row is promising.
Tomorrow I will give it my all from the start. It’s what allowed me to have such a good result today.
9th in the driver standings, Daniel Ricciardo, who will start 2nd tomorrow, can make a big move for himself and his team in this very tight battle in the midfield.
