Russian Grand Prix – Disappointment for Charles Leclerc
As Charles Leclerc's race was shaping up to be an impressive comeback, it actually ended far from the points.

The weekend was already looking complicated for Charles Leclerc from Thursday when it was announced that the Monegasque driver would have to start from the back of the grid following a change in the hybrid system. News of major importance as these are upgrades that Ferrari will use in 2022.
Charles Leclerc made a lightning start and gained 7 positions as soon as the lights went out. Later in the race, the Monegasque had a nice battle with his former teammate, Sebastian Vettel, after which he gained a new position.
Having chosen the alternative strategy, Charles Leclerc made a pit stop on the 36th lap. 13th when he left the pits, the Monegasque driver executed several overtakings to reach 8th place.
At the end of the race, the rain shuffles the cards and Ferrari is late in stopping Leclerc, the Monegasque driver is struggling immensely with his medium tires in the rain. He finally finishes in 15th place when points were within reach today.
