Turkish Grand Prix – Engine change for Lewis Hamilton
Mercedes has finally decided to introduce a new engine in Lewis Hamilton's car.

Neck and neck with Max Verstappen in the title race, Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes have finally decided to introduce a new and the fourth engine into car number 44.
The British driver will start at best 11th this Sunday, he currently has only 10 penalty places. However, if the German team decides to replace other elements, he will probably have to start from the last row alongside Carlos Sainz.
Mercedes is therefore following the strategy adopted by Red Bull and Max Verstappen, who also changed the engine of car number 33 in Russia. The Dutch driver had started from the back of the grid, but that did not prevent him from finishing in second place on the podium.
Lewis Hamilton, winner last year on the wet track of Istanbul, should be able to climb back in the standings and stay in touch with Max Verstappen in the world drivers’ championship.
