The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will take place as planned according to the FIA
The construction site of the Jeddah circuit is progressing rapidly as F1 must go there in less than a month. While doubts loom over the holding of the Grand Prix, the FIA confirms that everything will be finished on time before the arrival of F1.

The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will take place at the Jeddah circuit, near the Red Sea. This circuit is expected to be the fastest street circuit ever seen. However, the work is far from finished, with just under a month to go before the start of the Grand Prix, the circuit is still in full swing to be completed on time.
« I was there a few weeks ago and obviously a lot is happening there, there is a lot of work going on there. » explains Michael Masi, race director of the FIA, to Motorsport.com .
He however assures to be confident to see the circuit finished by the arrival of the F1.
« But we, the FIA and F1, receive daily updates on the situation, and it is progressing very, very quickly. So since the last time I was there, yes, there is a lot to do. There is no denying that, I think everyone will recognize that there is a lot to do. But I am still confident that the race will go smoothly,” said Michael Masi.
