F1 is running out of time to be ready for FP1

The transportation of various materials from the F1 teams (chassis, etc.) to São Paulo is delayed. Due to a weather-related issue, the different transported elements are expected to arrive today at Interlagos, one day before the start of the first free practice session.

The F1 teams are in full rush, although already in a sequence of three consecutive Grand Prix, the teams must now deal with transportation issues. The F1 materials have to travel 7,000 km from the Mexico circuit to São Paulo. But these equipments, which are supposed to arrive by Wednesday, are still not present at the Interlagos circuit.

Several teams would be concerned by this problem, including Haas and Red Bull, but questioning the schedule is far from being necessary. The next Grand Prix promises to be even more complicated in terms of logistics with a 12,000 km journey to Qatar, thus ending the last triple-header of the year.

As a reminder, the São Paulo Grand Prix is different due to the return of the sprint race with its format which includes only two free practice sessions and the qualifying session which takes place on Friday to decide the grid for the sprint, which then takes place on Saturday.
