Verstappen wants to win fair and square
The grand finale for the 2021 F1 World Championship title takes place at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. A highly anticipated climax that could potentially result in a collision between the two contenders for the title. However, Verstappen made it clear that he wants to win without eliminating Hamilton.

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are going to have a race to settle the score and determine who will be the next world champion. But to get to this point, the two drivers have found themselves wheel-to-wheel several times throughout the season, sometimes resulting in crashes that lead to retirements for both or one of them.
So it is a fear for many to see the title being decided on elimination following a crash, but Max Verstappen confirms that it is not his intention.
« I don’t want to eliminate him, I want to defeat him. It’s a different approach. Some people find me aggressive, others very aggressive, and others not at all. », explains Max Verstappen to De Telegraaf.
A desire to beat Hamilton fairly and without any accidents, but that doesn’t mean the Dutchman won’t fight with all his might.
« I do everything I can to win. If I don’t think like that, I might as well stay home,” Verstappen concludes.
A determination displayed by the Dutchman, promising a race of rare intensity in this Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
