Aston Martin has named its new director!
It is Mike Krack who takes over the reins of Aston Martin following the departure of Otmar Sfaznauer.

Following the departure of Otmar Sfaznauer a few days ago, Aston Martin has today announced who will replace the American businessman as the director of Aston Martin.
It is Mike Krack, the lucky chosen one, who will have the heavy task of guiding Aston Martin through this technical revolution. Fortunately for Lawrence Stroll’s team, the German is not afraid of responsibilities. In fact, he had managed the entire BMW group in motorsport before joining the Silverstone structure.
After Andreas Seidl, Mike Krack is the second German to be given the reins of a Formula 1 team in less than 3 years. The question will therefore be whether Mike Krack can follow in the footsteps of his compatriot and restore a struggling team to its former glory.
The main person involved seems very excited about this new adventure: « It is an honor to have been appointed as Director of Aston Martin Cognizant. I would like to thank Lawrence Stroll and Martin Whitmarsh for giving me such an opportunity.
Aston Martin is one of the biggest automotive brands in the world, and being able to play a role in its Formula 1 history is a challenge that I am excited to take on.
