The 2021 season allowed Ferrari to get back on track after a catastrophic 2020 season. However, despite this, the Italian team was not able to win a single Grand Prix in 2021 due to the performance gap between their car and those of Red Bull and Mercedes.

But the 2022 car promises to be interesting, as each day brings the F1 closer to the winter testing and these new machines, the rumors surrounding Ferrari and its car continue to make headlines. Indeed, according to journalist Ted Kravitz and his colleague Karun Chandhok, Ferrari’s engine is much better than the one from the 2021 season.

They were very optimistic because they feel like they have made significant gains on the engine side. They are not quite on equal footing with Honda and Mercedes, but not a million miles behind either, confesses Chandhok.

“I hear a lot of positive sounds coming from Ferrari. The engine is working well and they say the car looks much more aggressive,” Kravitz tells.

Ferrari is expected to be put to the test in 2022.
