New schedule for the W Series
In order to gain more significance in motorsport, the W Series will adopt a new calendar in 2022.

In just 2 seasons, the W Series has become, just like F3 or F2, a significant event for motorsport fans.
And in order to become more popular, the W Series will now share 8 race weekends with the premier category of motorsport, compared to 6 in 2021.
W Series Calendar:
Course | Date | |
1 | Miami, États-Unis | 6-8 Mai |
2 | Barcelone, Espagne | 20-22 Mai |
3 | Silverstone, Royaume-Uni | 1-3 Juillet |
4 | Le Castellet, France | 22-24 Juillet |
5 | Budapest, Hongrie | 29-31 Juillet |
6 | Suzuka, Japon | 7-9 Octobre |
7 | Austin, États-Unis | 21-23 Octobre |
8 | Mexico City, Mexique | 28-30 Octobre |
As a reminder: the W Series is a women-only F3 championship that allows the winner to receive $500,000 to help finance her career, but most importantly, 15 points towards her super license.
Created in 2019, Jamie Chadwick is the queen of the championship as she is the only champion.
In recent years, diversity has truly been at the heart of motorsport with the creation of the W Series, the WeRaceAsOne movement (although it is debatable on certain aspects), and finally the charitable partnership between Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes, Ignite, which aims to promote diversity in motorsport.
Statement from W Series CEO, Catherine Bond Muir:
The rise in the championship’s power is confirmed with this new schedule that will allow us to share more race weekends with Formula 1. This partnership shows our talented drivers that they deserve their place in the highest spheres of motorsport.
