It’s MCL36’s turn to be showcased in a triple presentation!
The 2022 presentations are continuing: this Friday, February 11th, McLaren unveils the weapons of Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris, along with the IndyCar and Dakar cars.
Haas had opened the dance, followed by Red Bull and Aston Martin. McLaren presented its MCL36, responding to the technical revolution implemented this year.
After a satisfying 2021 season (1 victory for Ricciardo, 4 podiums for Norris), the Woking team will try to do even better this year. The main ambition is to get revenge on Ferrari (3rd in the championship), and the British team can even aim higher: take advantage of the technical revolution to get closer to the giants Red Bull and Mercedes.
As for the livery, the English race car will be adorned with black on the side pods, and even with a sky blue color, recalling the Gulf livery seen at Monaco last year.
In addition to its Formula 1 car, McLaren has also unveiled its weapons designed for IndyCar and Dakar. The British manufacturer is further expanding its presence in motorsport.
The MCL36 will always have the Mercedes V6 engine.
