Toto Wolff did not like the first episodes of Drive To Survive season 4
A few days before the release of the new season of Drive To Survive, Toto Wolff shared his impressions on the episodes he has already seen.
While the Netflix series Drive To Survive is a success among Formula 1 fans and even beyond, one of its main characters expressed his discontent after watching the first episodes. Just a few weeks ago, Max Verstappen had already made it known that he refused to appear in the new season, accusing Netflix of manipulating reality to create a better show.
In an interview with the Irish Independent, Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff finds the new season of Drive To Survive terrible: « I started watching, episode 1, episode 2, and I hated it. I never wanted to have a camera on my face constantly,” he said, acknowledging the impact of the series on the younger generations: « We grew up with the series. In my profession, I talk about cars and business, and suddenly you realize that it has become so big all around the world with the numerous audiences, especially among the young.”
Fans will be able to give their opinion on this fourth season starting from March 11th when it will be released on the American platform. In the meantime, the boss of F1, Stefano Domenicali, has already warned that he is not certain if the series will continue for many more years.
