Verstappen is not worried about the design of the Mercedes W13
The 2021 world champion reacted after discovering the new pontoons of the new Mercedes F1.

Everyone is only talking about it in Bahrain. Since the beginning of the second wave of winter testing on Thursday morning, the eyes of the paddock have been turning towards the new side pods of the Mercedes W13. Speaking to the Dutch press, world champion Max Verstappen is not overly concerned about this major innovation.
As I have always said, we are focused on ourselves. The cars have different looks and we all still have a lot to learn. We need to understand what they (Mercedes) wanted to do and see what their performance will be.
On the first day of these tests in the Emirates, Christian Horner described the new Mercedes as being opposite to the spirit of the new regulations. A little later in the morning, Red Bull denied that the boss of the Austrian team had made such statements.
What is certain is that Lewis Hamilton and George Russell’s new racing car has already caused a lot of buzz, even though it’s only the first day of testing.
