Lando Norris warned Netflix to “avoid overdoing it” for the next season of Drive to Survive. The British driver feels that sometimes the series doesn’t accurately depict the reality of the action on the track.

The docu-drama about F1 has been criticized throughout the season for taking measures out of context in order to create entertainment.

The 22-year-old driver who watched the first two episodes of this latest season believes that if the series reflects the action that unfolds throughout a season, there are also numerous inaccuracies.

“I watched episodes one and two. I won’t criticize them, because it’s the first time that Daniel and myself are being portrayed with McLaren. I think it’s good, it gives a good idea of what we’re experiencing.”

However, Norris returns to a specific scene in which the action takes place during the opening race in Bahrain and which, according to him, does not correspond to what actually happened.

« They say that there is me and Daniel side by side in the first lap, even though we are not even close, and I claim that he pushes me off the track, when in the race it happened in a completely different way. »

He adds then:

« There are things that can be a little too much in this style and I don’t quite agree with that. But overall, I think it’s exciting and good for everyone. »

He ends with rather positive remarks about the series.

« As long as they don’t overdo it and they don’t give the impression that they have done something that doesn’t match reality, then it’s good. »
