The United States could host a new Formula 1 race in 2023
Formula 1 seems to be determined to head west. After Austin and Miami, a third Grand Prix could be organized on Uncle Sam's lands.

« Las Vegas baby! » According to the Spanish newspaper « AS », it is possible that Formula 1 will move three times to the United States starting next year. Indeed, discussions are underway for the hosting of a Grand Prix in Las Vegas in addition to the ones already taking place in Austin and Miami. This would be a comeback as the « City that never sleeps » has already seen F1 cars roving its streets in 1981 and 1982.
The American market is very important for Formula 1 and Liberty Media. The Netflix series “Drive to Survive” is a huge hit in the United States, with nearly 400,000 fans attending the US Grand Prix last year, and the first-ever Miami Grand Prix will be sold out in May.
Finally, starting from 2024, Formula 1 could host a second American team, and McLaren will soon implement a specific F1 testing program for Colton Herta, the youngest driver to win an IndyCar race and a candidate for a Formula 1 seat.
