The organization has made a decision: the Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia continues
Despite a heavy context, linked to terrorist attacks, the meeting held with leaders and drivers has given its verdict: the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will take place as planned.

Rarely has Formula 1 been faced with such a close terrorist threat.
On Friday, between the first two free practice sessions, an explosion occurred on a Saudi oil tanker company Aramco facility.
Contrary to the Russian Grand Prix, the one in Jeddah is still going ahead despite a potential risk that may not be completely eliminated. The main difference is that the entire F1 Circus was already on site at the time of the explosion.
The drivers, team leaders, and members of the FIA met at 10 p.m. local time to decide whether or not to hold the Saudi Arabian race.
The country’s army would have made its arrangements and stopped 7 drones.
Stefano Domenicali, F1 boss, affirms: “We trust the Saudi authorities. The attacks have targeted industrial sites, but not civilians nor the Grand Prix.”
It is good to hope that the threat is completely eliminated.
Update at 11 p.m.
Note that at 11:30pm tonight, the drivers were still in discussions regarding their participation in the race and the aftermath of the Grand Prix.
