The drivers have also made their decision: they will race in Jeddah
After four long hours of meeting, the drivers have made their decision about the rest of their weekend and will continue to follow the planned schedule for this weekend.

With the drivers gathered, doubt was looming over whether or not the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix would take place. Stefano Domenicali, the head of F1, had made the official announcement earlier in the evening.
The drivers, all together, were joined by some team principals, including Andreas Seidl for McLaren.
Pierre Gasly, coming out of the meeting, stated that everyone was able to express their opinion and (…) is aligned with their intentions.
However, let us remember that in January of last year, the Dakar Rally was affected by a bomb explosion on a car… in Saudi Arabia.
It only remains to be seen whether this decision was truly the right one. Otherwise, Formula 1 would experience an unprecedented crisis.
