Sebastian Vettel under investigation
The commissioners have decided to open an investigation against Sebastian Vettel after his "joyride" on a scooter during free practice 1.

It was a rather funny and original scene, but it was not to everyone’s taste. Sebastian Vettel’s grand return to the paddock, after missing the beginning of the season due to testing positive for Covid-19, was not ideal.
Indeed, the German driver fell victim to a mechanical issue on his Aston Martin, forcing him to leave his race car on the track. He then decided to borrow a scooter to make his way back to the pit lane. So far, nothing too serious.
Except that the four-time world champion did not use the escape routes, but the track itself at the Melbourne circuit. An action that the stewards did not like and therefore decided to open an investigation against him as he may have violated article 26.7 of the Sporting Regulations. This article states that nobody is allowed to be on the track within five minutes following the checkered flag.
Furthermore, the German drove on the track with his helmet not properly worn and sometimes took both hands off the handlebars. Actions that could not work in his favor…
