Charles Leclerc elected driver of the day in Australia
Charles Leclerc has been awarded the Driver of the Day title for the third consecutive time.

It was a perfect weekend for the Monegasque. Pole position, victory, fastest lap in the race, led the entire Grand Prix, and saw his rival for the championship retire.
In Australia, nothing or almost nothing could worry Charles Leclerc. Starting from pole position, he quickly pulled away in the lead, constantly setting the fastest laps in the race. Only the second Safety Car restart could have cost him the first place after making a mistake in the last corner, but he managed to make the most of his Ferrari’s strengths to secure his position.
The end of the race was smooth sailing for him, as Max Verstappen was forced to retire and with a lead of over 15 seconds ahead of Sergio Perez, he was able to cruise without any worries.
He also achieved his first Grand Slam in a GP (pole position, victory, fastest lap, and leading from start to finish).
