Max Verstappen launches his own Esports team!
If the beginning of his 2022 season does not go as expected, Max Verstappen could find solace in Esports.

For a few years now, Formula 1 drivers have been arriving, having grown up with racing video games, and even once they reach the pinnacle of motorsport, they continue to race virtually. This is the case, for example, with drivers such as Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, and Max Verstappen.
He had participated in the 24 Hours of Spa during the summer break of the 2021 season on Iracing.
Having developed a certain affinity with Esports, the Dutchman decided to create his own Esports team in order to build connections between the real and virtual worlds. This initiative is supported by Red Bull Racing, confirming the close relationship between the reigning world champion and his team.
I am extremely happy about this initiative. It will allow me to share my love for racing with teams and drivers that I particularly appreciate. Besides the fun it will bring me, it will be a good way to share my experience with them, which, I hope, will help them improve.
Verstappen Racing will be represented virtually by the Esports Red Line team, an extremely prestigious organization with many victories under their belt, while Max’s father, Jos, will represent his son’s team in the Belgian rally championship. Meanwhile, the driver Thierry Vermeulen will compete in the ADAC GT Masters championship.
Here is a new exciting adventure for the young world champion.
