Series over for Carlos Sainz in Australia
With his retirement at the Australian Grand Prix, Carlos Sainz put an end to a streak of 17 consecutive points finishes.

Spanish is one of the most consistent drivers. Since joining Scuderia, Carlos Sainz has been on par and has often even outperformed his teammate, Charles Leclerc, during races.
The son of the rally driver had been amassing good results as he had consecutively finished in the Top 10 for 17 times. But this impressive streak came to an end in the early laps of the Australian Grand Prix. Indeed, struggling with his car, he lost control and ended up in the gravel.
Even by ending this series, he achieves a ranking that is more than flattering in the history of the Scuderia. He is the sixth driver with the longest longevity among all Ferrari drivers. Only Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso, and Sebastian Vettel have done better.
