Vettel discusses the start of the season and talks about his future
On the sidelines of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, Sebastian assessed the first races of his team before discussing his personal future.

Aston Martin couldn’t have had a worse start to their season. After three Grand Prix races, they are the only team that has yet to score any points. The car suffers from a performance deficit and has also not been helped by the driving errors of its drivers during the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.
The four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel is well aware of these difficulties. In Imola, the German gave a realistic assessment of the situation: « The car is currently not fast enough. We are not where we want to be. We are working in the right direction and making progress quickly. We are only at the beginning of the year. It would be a mistake to already give up on this season.
Former Ferrari driver, Vettel is also delighted to return to Italy: “It’s great to come back to Italy. There is a lot of history here. Seeing the tifosi reminds me of good memories.” And he adds: “It’s not the easiest track to overtake, we’ll see if it’s easier with the new cars.”
Finally, the one who started in F1 15 years ago with BMW-Sauber and then with Toro Rosso, has mentioned the next step in his career: “I have experienced 15 amazing years. I was able to fight for championships, for victories and podiums. It’s something fantastic. One day, this journey will end and another one will begin. Everything is open.”
