Stroll receives a speeding fine in Imola
Lance Stroll was found guilty of speeding in the pit lane during Friday's qualifying session at Imola.

The driver of Aston Martin number 18 exceeded the speed limit in the pit lane during the qualifying session of the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. The Canadian was checked at 88.2km/h instead of 80km/h, resulting in a speeding excess of 8.2 km/h.
Thus, for having violated Article 34.7 of the FIA Sporting Regulations, Lance Stroll has been fined €900.
The regulations impose a speed limit of 80 km/h in the pit lane, except in Melbourne, Monaco, and Singapore where it is reduced to 60 km/h. Each additional km/h results in a fine of 100€, up to a maximum of 1000€. During the race, if excessive speed is deemed to be a sporting disadvantage, a penalty may be imposed on the driver.
