Aston Martin opens its counter
All teams have scored points now in this Formula 1 season, with the double arrival of Aston Martin drivers in the Top 10.
They’ve come a long way. After a season start that was more than complicated, not to say catastrophic, Aston Martin scored its first points in 2022. And this, thanks to Lance Stroll’s tenth place and Sebastian Vettel’s eighth place at Imola.
With these two positive results, Aston Martin scores five points, which allows them to climb back to ninth place in the constructors’ championship, ahead of Williams (1 point) and behind Haas (14 points). All the teams have now scored points this season.
In the drivers’ standings, Lance Stroll moves up to eighteenth place (1 point) and Sebastian Vettel (4 points) is fourteenth. Only Mick Schumacher and Nicholas Latifi have not scored any points.
