The F1 has not completely left the Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit in Imola after Sunday’s Grand Prix won by Max Verstappen. Four teams have stayed in Emilia-Romagna to begin testing the Pirelli tires for 2023. Three teams will take to the track today: Alpine, Alfa Romeo, and AlphaTauri.

“>A new test day is planned tomorrow for Alfa Romeo and AlphaTauri, who will be joined by Ferrari. ”

Today, Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly, and Guanyu Zhou are driving for this first day of testing. Tomorrow, Zhou will be replaced by Robert Kubica, the third driver of Alfa Romeo, who will have the opportunity to enjoy himself at the wheel of these new F1 cars.

Each team will carry out two days of testing during the season, on five dates set by Pirelli. Ferrari and Alpine are the only teams, along with Red Bull, to have divided their two days of testing across two different circuits. The Scuderia will return to the track the week after the Canadian Grand Prix to carry out their second testing day at Mugello (June 24th). Alpine, on the other hand, will be driving alongside McLaren and Williams in Austria on Wednesday, July 13th, three days after the Grand Prix held at the Red Bull Ring.
