Possible showers expected in Miami this weekend
As the first ever Miami Grand Prix is scheduled to take place this weekend, weather forecasts are predicting possible showers for the end of the week in Florida.

After just one race in Europe, Formula 1 is already packing its bags to head across the Atlantic. Miami is getting ready to host Formula 1 for the first time in its history on a circuit laid out around the Hard Rock Stadium.
The temperatures are high in Florida this week. According to The Weather Channel, the daytime highs projected for this weekend are around 30 degrees, while at night, temperatures are not expected to drop below 24 degrees. Thunderstorms are forecasted for Tuesday and Wednesday preceding the race, and the chances of rain for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday are estimated at 25%.
For Sunday’s race, the expected temperatures are also around 30 degrees, but showers are forecasted. The chances of rain are estimated at 41%. With these heat conditions, the question is therefore how much water could water the track and to what extent it would affect the race.
