A special helmet for Verstappen in Miami
This weekend will see the first-ever Miami Grand Prix taking place. It's an opportunity for Max Verstappen to bring a helmet specially designed for this event.

The new destinations where Formula 1 goes are often an opportunity for drivers to wear a specific helmet to mark the event. This year, for the second time in its history, the pinnacle of motor racing makes a stop in Florida for the first-ever Miami Grand Prix.
In a video published on his Twitter account, the reigning world champion Max Verstappen unveiled the design of the helmet he will wear this weekend. Instead of the usual dominant white, the Dutchman’s helmet combines the dark blue of Red Bull with the light blue of the Miami sky and the Atlantic Ocean. Palm trees, a symbol of the coastal city of Florida, can also be seen on it.
Here is what Verstappen declared during the presentation of this helmet: “A special helmet for a special weekend. As you can see, for Miami, since it’s the first time we’re going there and I’m excited to go, I’ve added a ‘Miami Vice’ touch to it. I love this helmet. I think it’s one of my favorites. I’m really looking forward to using it.”
