Alice Powell joins the Alpine Academy as a mentor
Alice Powell has joined the ranks of the Alpine Academy, in a role as a mentor in talent identification and development.

Second in the W Series championship last season behind Jamie Chadwick, Alice Powell is now part of the Alpine academy. Her role within the French team will be to identify young female talents in junior categories, as well as help them reach their potential.
« I am happy to join the team. There are now more and more opportunities for women in emerging motorsport, but aspiring drivers often lack guidance and experience at the beginning of their career. The Alpine Academy is an extremely useful springboard for all drivers. It offers a sense of credibility and has a defined place on the motorsport ladder. Coaching is very important. We need to change the mentality of young women by telling them that these opportunities exist, but also by giving them the resilience needed to seize these opportunities with both hands, says the 29-year-old British driver.
This year, Alice Powell will be in charge of Abbi Pulling, a 19-year-old young driver who joined the program in 2022, and will directly compete against her mentor in the W Series in a few weeks. “I am very happy to work closely with Alice,” said Pulling.
