They both have won seven championship titles. One in Formula 1, the other in American football and his famous Super Bowl. Lewis Hamilton and Tom Brady met on the sidelines of the Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix, around a golf club for a charitable competition initiated by their common sponsor IWC.

The objective of the day was to raise money for social programs in the Miami area. Two teams were competing in this “Big plot” golf challenge. The team “Désert du Mojave” was composed of Tom Brady and Lewis Hamilton, facing off against the team “Lac Tahoe” composed of Marcus Allen and Brandon Okpalobi. The first is a former American Football player, the second is the CEO of Dibia Dream.

Note that it was David Coulthard who was commentating on the event.

“A guy with 7 world titles, and Tom Brady,” the quarterback writes on his Twitter account.

Lewis Hamilton also felt like joking. “Finally, maybe I’ll win something this year,” said the Mercedes driver, who was about to win the duel before the game ended in a draw. A more relaxed moment for the British driver, contrasting with his difficult start to the season aboard the W13, as seen with a 13th place in the last Grand Prix in Imola.
