Verstappen would like to see Kyalami make a comeback to the F1 calendar
The 2021 world champion has stated that he would like to see a Grand Prix in Africa on the F1 calendar, at Kyalami in South Africa.

Rivals on the track last season and completely opposite to each other, here is finally a subject that will bring Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen together. The Dutchman has expressed his support for a return of Kyalami to the calendar, a circuit that Formula 1 has not set foot on since the last South African Grand Prix in 1993.
While a return of the premier category of motorsport to South Africa seems increasingly likely for 2024, Lewis Hamilton initially expressed his personal desire to go racing on the African continent. « The place I really feel, deep down inside me, is most important to me is to go back racing in South Africa. I think there is a large audience there, and I think it would be great to highlight how beautiful the homeland is. »
So it’s Max Verstappen’s turn to express his desire to go racing at Kyalami, in response to a question from a fan that Red Bull then published on their Twitter account. (e) I would like to race in Africa. So Kyalami could be a good addition.
While Stefano Domenicali continues to express his desire for an increasingly crowded calendar, it is not impossible to see the return of Kyalami materialize in the seasons to come, thus witnessing the Formula 1 paddock back on African soil, which would be a first in almost 30 years.
A return to South Africa? 🇿🇦 It’s got the vote of @Max33Verstappen 🗳
