Mick Schumacher wants to keep Monaco on the calendar
Like many other drivers, Mick Schumacher expressed his desire for Monaco to remain on the calendar, while putting forward another argument.

While rumors continue to circulate about the possible disappearance of certain European Grand Prix races, the drivers are still speaking up to express their desire to see these circuits remain on the calendar.
This weekend is the Monaco Grand Prix, which is one of those races that do not have a guaranteed place on the future calendar. Certainly the most historic Grand Prix in Formula 1, the circuit in the principality, however, offers very little excitement in racing. Despite this, the drivers naturally want to see this jewel of the category remain on the calendar.
Mick Schumacher is the latest to have spoken up about his desire to race in Monaco in the upcoming years. He has been a part of Formula 1 for so long, and it’s such a historic place. It would be a shame to lose something that has been in the sport for so many years. It has always been regarded as one of the great events to win.
The German mentions the argument of the “Triple Crown”, which would be deprived of one of its jewels if Monaco were to be removed from the F1 calendar. « If you have the three major victories – the Indy 500, the Monaco Grand Prix, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans – it would be a shame to lose this opportunity. It’s something that some drivers chase, it may not be my number one priority, but some might still want to do it. »
A little over a month ago, the organizers of the Grand Prix were reassured about the holding of the Grand Prix in the coming years. Just like for some other Grand Prix races such as France or Spa-Francorchamps, the wait is long.
