Monaco Grand Prix – Predictions and presentation
This weekend, the F1 paddock is heading to its most legendary venue: Monaco. Will Charles Leclerc be able to break his home curse and reclaim the championship lead from the defending champion Verstappen? Here are our predictions for this Monaco Grand Prix.

There is no shortage of adjectives to describe the Monaco Grand Prix, the most iconic race of the Formula 1 World Championship. Although highly controversial in the past week, the Monaco leg remains a widely followed classic by spectators around the world and a dream for all drivers.
A mythical route/trail
Rare are the circuits that possess a mythical turn whose name is known by everyone. Only one can boast that each of them carries a famous name, and that is indeed the Monte Carlo track.
Stretching over 3,337 kilometers, the 18 turns of the Monaco Circuit wind through the streets of the Principality and also line the most famous Marina in the world.
The overtaking zones (often rare on this circuit) are located at the first corner of Sainte-Dévote and at the chicane of the Port at the end of the tunnel, each time at the end of a DRS straight. The Rascasse can also offer beautiful memorable overtakes, like the one by the late Jules Bianchi in 2014 on Japanese driver Kamui Kobayashi.
Pirelli’s choices
As usual, the Italian manufacturer brings its softest range to Monaco with the C3, C4 and C5 tires for the softest compounds. Strategy and pit stops are often decisive in the Principality, and it will obviously be an important point to observe during the race!
No time to rest: it’s race week again! 🏁🇲🇨

Leclerc facing the curse, Sainz facing himself, Verstappen to confirm.
Everyone is obviously asking themselves the same question this weekend: will Charles Leclerc finally manage to finish his home Grand Prix?
It is true that since the beginning of his career, the Ferrari driver has alternated misfortune and errors, to the point of never seeing the checkered flag of his Grand Prix. With a devilishly efficient car this season, there is no doubt that the Monegasque will want to sweep away once and for all this curse!
He will not be the only one plagued by doubts. Indeed, his teammate Carlos Sainz has been in great difficulty since the beginning of the season. Wanting to finally achieve his reference Grand Prix this year, Sainz finished second here last year and is generally comfortable on urban circuits. However, the absence of a pole position and victory on his record, which has been eagerly awaited for a long time, will certainly weigh once again on his shoulders.
On his part, the defending champion in the Principality, Max Verstappen, will try to achieve the double, especially since he just regained the lead in the championship last week in Barcelona. The atmosphere is calmer on the Dutch side!
The editorial predictions: Leclerc / Verstappen for the win, surprises for the podium.
Many of us see the local rider break his bad luck to achieve a first success at home, or at least a podium. But some of us still believe that the Monegasque won’t make it to the finish line, and also bet on a crash from Carlos Sainz.
Max Verstappen is also mentioned as a potential winner, while surprises could occur on the podium with the two Mercedes drivers, Valtteri Bottas or another mid-grid driver!
