Ferrari is testing Pirelli’s rain tires in Fiorano
Ferrari has been driving on its Fiorano track since yesterday. The Scuderia is testing Pirelli's rain tires with its two drivers.

No rest for Ferrari. After a grueling Monaco Grand Prix with a difficult outcome to accept, the Scuderia is back on track since yesterday at Fiorano. Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc are testing Pirelli rain tires, which have only been used in Monaco so far this season.
In a setup similar to what was done during the winter testing in Barcelona, the track was flooded to recreate wet race conditions. Charles Leclerc took to the track today, whereas Carlos Sainz was behind the wheel yesterday. The Spaniard had a harmless spin that left him stuck in the gravel.

These two days of testing come after Sebastian Vettel criticized the tires from the Italian manufacturer after the Monaco Grand Prix. According to the German driver, the wet tires had no grip.
« I remember the days when we could have driven in such conditions. But with these tires, it’s impossible. Wet tires are basically useless. They may seem good but they really do nothing.
» exclaimed the Aston Martin driver after the race.
Ferrari, like the other teams, will also have to test the Pirelli tires for 2023, as it had already done after Imola.
