Williams praised De Vries after his test session in Barcelona
After his free practice session in Barcelona, Nyck de Vries seems to have left a very good impression on Williams. Enough to convince the Grove team to sign him for next year?
This year, teams are obliged to run rookies during two free practice sessions. Some teams had chosen Barcelona as the first of these two regulatory obligations. Among them, Williams, who gave the wheel to Nyck de Vries, a candidate to replace Nicholas Latifi in 2023, instead of Alex Albon.

Robson continues his praise of De Vries. So, I think in this regard, considering he only had one hour in the car, I think he did a very good job, and he clearly has what it takes to be a top-notch driver. Nyck de Vries is one of the possible choices for Williams if the team does not renew Nicholas Latifi for 2023. The team must also give another testing session to a rookie, hopefully he will be chosen once again to get on board the FW44 for an hour.
