Max Verstappen has the potential to break a record held by Sebastian Vettel
After 125 races with Red Bull, Max Verstappen is about to break a record held by Sebastian Vettel at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

After a chaotic 2021 edition in the Azeri streets, which saw championship leader Max Verstappen suffer a puncture at over 300 km/h, thus ending his race in a wall. It was his teammate Sergio Perez who secured this victory, ahead of Vettel and Gasly, after a sprint of 2 laps following the red flag caused by the Dutchman’s accident.
Once again leading the World Championship, Max Verstappen intends to further extend his advantage over Charles Leclerc on the streets of Baku. But this Grand Prix will also be an opportunity for him to clinch a new record, currently held by Sebastian Vettel.
Max Verstappen has 65 podium finishes in 125 races for Red Bull, a 3rd place will be enough for him to surpass Sebastian Vettel’s record, a four-time world champion for the Red Bull team. The German had achieved this number of podium finishes in 113 races.
