Magnussen satisfied with the changes at Haas
Kevin Magnussen sees changes at Haas since his first stint with the team between 2017 and 2020. The Danish driver says he is very happy with these modifications.

This year marks Kevin Magnussen’s return to Formula 1. After a year away from the premier category of motorsport, an opportunity presented itself and here the Danish driver is already back, in the team he had left at the end of the 2020 season, Haas.
While he recently stated that he missed Formula 1, which made it easier for him to decide to come back when Günther Steiner called him, Magnussen also sees many changes within the American team since his departure almost two years ago.
“Yes, there have been some positive changes in the team,” declares the 29-year-old driver. “The year I left, they moved. It’s a bigger group now in Maranello, and I think it helps with communication between different departments, just being able to go and talk to each other.”
« During all these years, our team has been scattered around the world: in the United States, then in two locations in Italy and one in England, so very dispersed. And I think that in terms of communication, it’s easier when you can simply go to your colleague’s office and have a conversation.
« So, it’s better and it has also grown, we have more people and it’s better. And, of course, the car shows it too. So Haas is pointing at a nice place. »
After an excellent first Grand Prix with a fifth place finish in Bahrain, the following races have been more challenging. But when we compare it to last season, everything indicates that the American team is heading in the right direction.
