Canal+ holds the rights to broadcast Formula 1 in France until at least 2029, but for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, it will be possible to watch the race for free on the encrypted channel.

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be the first of the four Grand Prix races to be broadcast on free-to-air television this year. The identity of the other Grand Prix races in this situation is not fully known. The only thing that is certain is that the French Grand Prix will be broadcast on free-to-air television, as it is a major event protected by free-to-air broadcasting.

The live broadcast will start this Sunday from 11:55 AM for the show “La Grille”, presented by Margot Laffite, alongside consultant Loïc Duval. At 1 PM, the race will be commented on by the usual duo formed by Julien Fébreau and Jacques Villeneuve.

You now have no excuse to miss this Formula 1 appointment!
