5: Year after year, the number increases! In fact, in the first five editions, there has always been a different poleman and a different winner on the Azerbaijani track. In 2016, Nico Rosberg dominated the discussions by securing both pole position and victory.

In 2017, Hamilton took the pole position while the incredibly thrilling end of the Grand Prix crowned Daniel Ricciardo. Sebastian Vettel, driving his Ferrari in 2018, claimed the pole, but it was Hamilton who secured the victory. In 2019, Valtteri Bottas, always comfortable on this circuit, emerged as the winner by setting the fastest time on Saturday.
