Hamilton will co-produce a film about Formula 1 with Brad Pitt
Lewis Hamilton will co-produce a film about Formula 1 for Apple. Brad Pitt will take on the lead role, portraying a former driver who makes a comeback.

Lewis Hamilton is venturing into the cinema industry. The seven-time champion has signed on to co-produce a film about Formula 1 for Apple. The project, with a budget of 140 million dollars, will be directed by Joseph Kosinski, who recently directed “Top Gun: Maverick” currently in theaters.
If the film’s title remains unknown for now, the lead role will be played by Brad Pitt. The 58-year-old actor will play the role of a driver who comes out of retirement to mentor a young rookie in competing against the best in the world. No release date has been announced yet, but the film will be shown in theaters for at least 30 days before becoming available on Apple TV+.

Lewis Hamilton is making his second appearance in the world of cinema after being the executive producer of “The Game Changers,” a documentary about the vegan diets of certain athletes. The British driver also reached an agreement with Apple in March for the production of a documentary about his career, which will be directed by Matt Kay.
