Charles Leclerc always has confidence in Ferrari
Despite three consecutive setbacks, both strategic and mechanical, Charles Leclerc still maintains confidence in his team. The Monegasque logically continues to believe in the championship title at the end of the year.

Three. That’s the number of consecutive setbacks for Charles Leclerc. After an initial reliability issue in Barcelona and a series of strategic errors at home in Monaco, the Monegasque saw his engine go up in smoke in Baku just when a potential victory was within reach.
« Every abandonment is difficult. Obviously it’s not the third in a row, but to be honest, Monaco felt like an abandonment. So it’s the third disappointment in a row and it’s not easy, » comments Charles Leclerc on this black series that doesn’t seem to want to stop for now.
Now 34 lengths behind Max Verstappen, despite having led the championship with a masterful hand, Charles Leclerc will obviously not give up and will continue to fight to win his first world title. Overall, I am confident that mentally I will be as strong as I was five races ago when I was leading the championship in the next race. The motivation is still there.
« We need to be on top of these things and obviously reliability is something we need to look into after the last three races. So as a team, we may need to take a step in that direction,” continues Leclerc, who still believes in his team’s championship win at the end of the season. « I believe we can still win the championship, but we need to be on top of these things. After the last three races, I think we’ve shown that we’ve lost too many points and we need to examine that.”
When finally asked if these problems encountered in the last three races have tarnished his confidence in his team, his answer is categorical: « No.
Despite consistently good performances, if Charles Leclerc wants to secure his first championship crown in a few months, Ferrari must address reliability issues and learn from strategic mistakes. Because since the beginning of the season, the Monegasque driver has nearly done everything perfectly.
