Lando Norris wants his revenge in Canada
Lando Norris has only participated in one Canadian Grand Prix since joining Formula 1. With Montreal's return to the calendar, the British driver intends to erase his disappointment from 2019 in 2022.

The rookie Lando Norris’ first Canadian Grand Prix in 2019 did not end as desired for the British driver. In the 9th lap, the rear right suspension of his MCL34 caught fire due to overheating of his rear brakes. His race ended very early and the Briton keeps a frustrating memory of it.
The Canadian Grand Prix once again opens its doors to Formula 1, and Lando Norris hopes to be able to forget about his misfortunes in 2019 by achieving a good result.
I’m excited about going back to Canada. It will be the second time I will race here, so it will be great to be back on track in front of the Canadian audience. The 2019 race didn’t end the way I wanted it to. I can’t wait to get back on the track there and give it my all. I’ve been preparing on the simulator and I feel ready for this new challenge with these cars.
Norris is seventh in the drivers’ standings with 50 points, far ahead of his teammate, but he wants to get back on a better track after a more challenging weekend in Baku.
