Olli Caldwell has conducted tests with last year’s Alpine at Silverstone
Olli Caldwell, Formula 2 driver and member of the Alpine Academy, tested the Alpine A521, last year's single-seater, at Silverstone yesterday.

“After Oscar Piastri on Tuesday, it was Olli Caldwell who took the wheel of last year’s Alpine A521 at Silverstone yesterday. The 20-year-old English driver had his first Formula 1 test day, where he completed a full day of testing.”

Olli Caldwell has been a member of the Alpine Academy since this season. He started in Formula 3 in 2020, finishing 16th before taking 8th place in the standings last year. The Winchester native also participated in six F2 races at the end of last year with Campos before being promoted as a regular driver this season.
For now, Caldwell has not scored a single point in the F1 waiting room and his start to the season is very tricky, whereas his teammate Ralph Boschung has 34 points.
