Hamilton finally returns to the podium: “It warms my heart”
Lewis Hamilton returns to the podium after a controlled race. The seven-time British world champion is delighted about it, this Sunday.
Lewis Hamilton finally returns to the podium after leaving it after Bahrain, the British driver outperforms Russell, and regains confidence in himself and his team. After the race, he declared:
« It was really tough to battle with the car, but we continue to be vigilant and focused. I’m super happy with this podium, it’s truly inspiring for everyone at the factory and on the edge of the track. We gave it our all and we will continue to give it our all. Thanks to the safety car, the pace was pretty good. We worked a lot on the simulator to have good settings. I didn’t expect this second podium: it warms my heart, especially since I won my first race here.
