Perez: “It’s a miracle”

At the end of this crazy race, Sergio Perez spoke to Jenson Button on the microphone. « Yes, it’s a miracle, a great comeback. We never gave up, the opportunities came. There were great battles with Charles [Leclerc] and Lewis [Hamilton], that last lap was incredible. »
Sergio Perez then spoke about the incident on the first lap, explaining that he had been squeezed by Charles Leclerc, which ultimately forced the Mexican to make a pit stop to change his wing due to the contact.
The Red Bull driver maintains his second place in the driver standings with 147 points. He is ahead of Charles Leclerc, who has 138 points. Thanks to his podium finish, he takes back 12 points from his teammate who is currently leading the championship.
